The Associated Press has called the race for the incumbent, who was up 57% to 42% over Republican challenger Smiley after the first ballot drop Tuesday night.
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez leads Trump-endorsed Joe Kent with 53% of the vote. Democratic incumbent Kim Schrier is ahead of her GOP challenger Matt Larkin by six percentage points.
Over the years, officials have identified just a handful of ballots that might have been fraudulently cast — out of several million votes tallied across the state.
