Join Crosscut on the road to Election Day 2020

We're relaunching our Elections newsletter to keep readers informed ahead of casting their ballots on Nov. 3.

Ballots

Exciting (but slightly terrifying) fact: Election Day is just over a month away — 35 days, to be exact.

Regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum, we at Crosscut want you to be an informed and confident voter from when you get your ballot in the mail to when you cast your vote. That’s why we’re relaunching our Crosscut Elections newsletter.

Every Wednesday, we’ll round up our latest reporting and bring you voices from fellow voters, answer questions about voting and show you where the money is going within the political machine. We’ll also send you updated results on election night and in the following days and weeks.

That doesn't mean that we'll just republish our stories from Crosscut.com. Instead, my goal is to break down complicated issues, elevate different perspectives and share short stories in different ways than what I’d normally find on online. (But, hey, I might be a little biased.)

Can’t wait until next week? Read up on our handy Q&A on how to vote in 2020, including updating your voter registration, replacing lost ballots, what to do if you’ve moved recently and more. We’ve also teamed up with ProPublica to open a tip line for you to submit any problems you experience casting your ballot ahead of the Nov. 3  general election, including ballot delivery problems or anything else that hinders your ability to vote.

Want to give it a go and join us on the road to Election Day? Subscribe to our Crosscut Elections newsletter, below — and don’t hesitate to forward this to friends and tell them to subscribe, too.
