Robert Horton has been a film critic in Seattle for many years. A member of the National Society of Film Critics and the Critics Choice Association, he was the longtime film critic at the Seattle Weekly and The Everett Herald and a regular contributor to Film Comment and other magazines. He is a board member at the nonprofit Scarecrow Video and the leader of Scarecrow Academy. His books include Frankenstein (2014), For Kids of All Ages: The National Society of Film Critics on Children’s Movies (2019) and Billy Wilder: Interviews (2001). He writes about movies on his blog, The Crop Duster.
