Dr. Kiana Scott earned her PhD in political communication from the University of Washington in 2017, and wrote her doctoral dissertation about gender, legislative candidate communication, and the 2016 presidential election. She serves on the board of the National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington, and worked on political campaigns in Washington state and around the country.
