Kayla Blau is a Seattle-based child advocate and writer, whose work has been published in the Seattle Globalist, the South Seattle Emerald and Mondoweiss. She currently is pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Washington, and works at a local domestic violence shelter.
