Enrique Pérez de la Rosa is Northwest Public Broadcasting’s bilingual multimedia reporter based in Yakima and a graduate of the University of Washington. He grew up in the border states of California, Texas and Chihuahua, Mexico but has resided in Kent, Washington since 2009.
Enrique’s love for public radio began through an All Things Considered internship at KNKX in Seattle. He took that love to Olympia to work with the Northwest News Network and then to Southeast Alaska where he was the Community Journalism Fellow at Raven Radio, KCAW Sitka. Enrique has also worked in Mexico City with CimacNoticias, a non-profit dedicated to reporting on women’s human rights.
