Claudia Castro Luna is the Washington State Poet Laureate and the first person to serve as Seattle’s Civic Poet. She is the author of the poetry chapbook “This City” (Floating Bridge Press) and the collection “Killing Marías” (Two Sylvias Press). Her non-fiction has most recently appeared in the anthology “This is the Place: Women Writing About Home” (Seal Press). Her latest book of poetry, "One River, A Thousand Voices," will be published in September.
