Chuck Wolfe provides a unique perspective about cities as a London-based urbanist writer, photographer, land use consultant and former Seattle land use and environmental attorney. He is currently a Visiting Scholar at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and a long-time Affiliate Associate Professor in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington. Wolfe is author of two Island Press books, Urbanism Without Effort and Seeing the Better City, which recently informed his work as a Fulbright Specialist in Cairns and Townsville, Australia. His forthcoming book, Sustaining a City’s Culture and Character, will be published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2020. He has contributed regularly on urban development topics to several publications, including CityLab, The Atlantic, The Huffington Post, CityMetric, Governing, and Planetizen.
