Meagan Hatcher-Mays

Meagan Hatcher-Mays is — with her best friend Lindy West — the co-host of Text Me Back, the most important podcast in history. She is a lawyer and democracy expert based in Washington, D.C. She was previously the director of democracy policy at Indivisible; counsel at Demand Justice, a progressive organization aimed at building a more equitable judiciary; and an aide for Eleanor Holmes Norton, the District of Columbia’s non-voting delegate to Congress. Hatcher-Mays has also appeared on MSNBC (All In with Chris Hayes, American Voices with Alicia Menendez, Velshi), Peacock (The Mehdi Hasan ShowZerlina) and BNC (Prime with Charles Blow); and has been featured in The New York Times and The Washington Post and on CBS News, Vox and more as an expert on the courts and democracy.
