Elahe Izadi

Elahe Izadi co-hosts the daily flagship podcast Post Reports and is also a reporter covering media. Since joining Post Reports in 2022, Izadi has taken listeners inside reporting from the newsroom, drawing on the insight of Post journalists to get close to the stories driving the news cycle. She joined The Post in 2014 as a general assignment reporter and the Style section in 2016 as a pop-culture writer. She has previously covered Congress, demographics and local news, and worked for National Journal, WAMU 88.5, TBD.com and the Gazette community newspapers.

About the Festival

The Cascade PBS Ideas Festival brings together journalists, newsmakers, and innovators from around the country to talk about the issues that are animating our cultural conversations. The festival includes live recordings of television and podcasts from The Atlantic, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Slate, Pushkin, NPR and PBS; as well as community meetups, meet-and-greets, food trucks, DJs, and more.
