With the election just about 10 months away, Gov. Jay Inslee takes the offensive responding to revelations of serious errors at the Department of Corrections that allowed prisoners to get out early.

As lawmakers return to Olympia for the 2016 session, one of the first public hearings will put a spotlight on who knew what and when.
