Video: Key changes from new city council election system

Following Tuesday's first district-based Seattle City Council primary, the changes that spring from the results may carry less historic weight than the new election system itself.

Despite talk of big changes from the new system, five of the six incumbents won their primary races, assuring themselves of places on the November ballot. One incumbent, Jean Godden, failed to make the November ballot, but she had only narrowly survived the 2011 election.

Now, as the results have become clearer, we sit down to talk about what happened in the voting — and what it means for the future.
