We're winding down our Membership drive for this spring, with just a few more days to go. Special urgency today: If you join or renew by tonight, you can come to our Members-come-free party tonight. Here are some details about tonight's party, which is a celebration of Crosscut's fourth birthday and a tribute to Pioneer Square, our new home. The party will be at 109 S. Main, between First S. and Occidental S. in Pioneer Square. It's the old space of Elliott Bay Books' used book store, in the Globe Building pictured to the right.
Party starts at 5 and goes to 7:30, with refreshments. Free to Members. You'll meet newsmakers, staffers, writers, and a few famous folks. We'll have a short program around 6, with some surprise announcements as well as brief remarks from three folks who are making Pioneer Square come back to life. I'll be there, of course, and I hope you'll introduce yourself and give us some good ideas for stories and ways to improve Crosscut.

Wednesday's winners in the daily drawing are Aaron Hayden of Belltown (two free tickets to Seattle Art Museum with its current Nick Cave show) and Bert Bergman of Port Townsend (a $25 gift card to any Ivar's Seafood Restaurant). Today's drawing will be for four free tickets to the Henry Art Gallery, a contemporary art museum on the U.W. campus, and another drawing for four tickets to remaining shows of Seattle Arts & Lectures for this season. Such a deal!
