Since last October, Crosscut has been located in the north end of Belltown, a nifty part of the city, in a funky little one-story building and former art gallery. Strange to say in this real estate market, the building is about to be torn down so the owner can build an apartment complex. So out we go, no later than Sept. 30.

Some specifics. We need at least 750 square feet. We prefer being downtown (downtown proper, Belltown, Pioneer Square, Denny Triangle, lower Queen Anne, South Lake Union, International District, First Hill, Pike-Pine). We have been expanding and may grow even faster in the coming year, so flexibility to grow in the space or in the building is desired. We like short leases. Street-level, as we now have, is desirable; as is affordable nearby parking. A conference room is important. "Pocket space" would work just fine.
As with our present location, we are quite open to paying low rent in exchange for being flexible. We went into our present space knowing that if financing came through for redeveloping this parcel, we'd be out on the street. We did all the tenant improvements, took our chances, and have enjoyed a dandy office for a year. So think about your uncle Stan and that space he just can't seem to rent, wants to fill it up, and would benefit by the fame and prestige of the great Crosscut gang as a tenant.
